 Dr. Shunney brings the rich centuries-old history of medical cleansing and detoxification to the program, while Chef Jenny makes it easy to do and, most importantly, delicious to eat! Dr. Shunney has been using versions of this program with individual patients and groups for over 12 years. As a team, Dr. Shunney and Chef Jenny have been developing and using Cleanse Organic with groups for more than four years. The program continues to evolve based on clinical experience and participant feedback.

Cleanse Organic is food based.
 Many people begin a cleansing program because they have developed negative habits when it comes to how and what they eat. So! Tell us: how will drinking sweetened lemon juice for 21 days or skipping meals to “fast” help you achieve a healthier relationship with food?
 In order to establish healthy eating habits, a person needs to… eat healthy! And by eating healthy, we don’t mean “juicing healthy” or “fasting healthy.” We believe that it is important to actually EAT healthy. Food is thy medicine, after all.
- Cleanse Organic does not ask you to fast or live on juices, and we do this for several reasons. First, we want to change your life, not just the next 28 days. Long-term change requires educating you about how to eat well in the “real world.” Second, we want you to be able to do this when you’re working, raising your kids, etc. If you’re fasting, that’s going to be HARD. The right foods will enhance your cleanse and diminish side effects, leaving you with energy to continue living your life. Last, amino acids from protein are required to support detoxification in the liver. If you want to detoxify your body, you must have protein.

- Cleanse Organic is unique in that it includes meal plans, shopping lists, and recipes (featuring fresh, seasonal produce) created by a Nutritionist and Natural Foods Chef (so, yes, they actually taste good!).

- Cleanse Organic is a food-focused cleanse, supported by supplements—not the other way around. Each recipe is designed to do what all those supplements do: support digestion and elimination, promote liver function, provide antioxidants, and decrease inflammation.

Cleanse Organic includes individual weekly phone sessions with a certified Cleanse Organic coach, and access to the Cleanse Organic community forum and online resource area. Post-cleanse support is available for an additional fee. When you receive guidance, support, and encouragement from all sides, you’re much more likely to join the ranks of successful cleansers!

At Cleanse Organic, we simply do not believe that drinking vegetable juices for three weeks is going to help you tackle your core issues around your relationship with food.
