PLEASE NOTE: we recommend that women taking oral contraceptives use an alternative form of birth control while on the cleansing program and after until their next menses. Enhancing the liver’s metabolic abilities can theoretically affect the way in which some drugs, including oral contraceptives, are broken down and processed. While it is unlikely that the Cleanse Organic program would make oral contraceptives ineffectual, it is worth taking precautionary measures if you do not wish to become pregnant at this time. For these same reasons, we recommend discussing the program with your physician if you take any prescription medications.
