Program Components - Diet
The Hypoallergenic/Elimination/Anti-inflammatory Diet The Cleanse Organic diet is designed to decrease inflammation and reduce your toxic load by including foods that generally do not cause allergies or intolerances and are free of preservatives, pesticides, hormones, antibiotics, and other toxic elements. You’ll make dietary changes in increments to ease your body into the cleansing process.
7-Day Pre-Cleanse: The first seven days of the Cleanse Organic program do not have any specific dietary guidelines. We recommend taking this time to prepare your kitchen, do some meal planning, and consider eliminating caffeine and/or sugar. You can also begin experimenting with our recipes, or even start your Cleanse Week 1 diet if you just can’t wait! Details on the Pre-Cleanse are in your manual and in your Cleanse Organic online resource area.
21-Day Cleanse: Week 1 Diet Simply follow the Dietary Quicklist in your manual. Part 2 of your manual is filled with meal ideas, shopping lists, and Sample Menus. There is also an appendix that contains over 75 delicious cleanse-approved recipes. You will find additional resources in your Cleanse Organic online resource area, including detailed Meal Plans for every week of your program.
Week 2 Diet In addition to the foods eliminated in Week 1, you will make additional modifications to allow for intensified cleansing this week.
If you have been eating fish and fowl during Week 1, you will eliminate them during Week 2.
If you have NOT been eating fish and fowl during Week 1, you will reduce or eliminate your legume consumption during Week 2.
Week 3 Diet
The meats, fish, and legumes you eliminated during the second week may now be reintroduced.
Post-Cleanse Reintroduction Phase: The length of this phase can vary as you reintroduce one food at a time to determine if any of the foods you eliminated were negatively impacting your health. Your manual describes this process in detail.
